Course Length:  One 8 hour day

Cost:  $200.00 per student

Course Overview:

Master the essentials of handgun safety and handling with our Handgun 101 - Basic Fundamental Course. Designed for beginners, this course builds your confidence and skills through clear instruction and practical exercises. Gain the knowledge you need to handle a pistol safely and effectively, setting a strong foundation for responsible firearm ownership. Whether for personal protection or sport, start your journey with expert guidance that puts safety and competence first.

Student Provided Gear List:

Handgun

500 rounds of ammunition

(3) Handgun magazines (magazine pouches that fasten to belt preferred)

Handgun Holster (holster needs to be specific to the firearm being used. Inside the waistband is allowed however the holster must attach to the belt of the pants. Holsters that do not remain in their original shape when the weapon is not in it are not permitted. If carrying outside the waisteband, paddle holsters are not permitted. Duty or battle belts with holsters are permitted. Regarding SERPA or like holsters that require the index finger to the release the firearm are not permitted. Cross draw or shoulder holsters are not permitted)

Safety glasses and hearing protection (electronic earmuffs preferred)

Ball cap

Clothing appropriate for outdoor weather

Footwear appropriate for gravel or dirt footing

Bug spray

Sunscreen

Camp chair

Food and non-alcoholic drink for all day (water will be provided)
